DJ Matt

DJ Matt is a top international DJ primarily based in Asia Pacific. He has performed at events for Lane Crawford, Audi and Chivas, masterfully curating music to suit each crowd. With an extensive network of talented musicians, Matt also often works with a live musician or band to create the right atmosphere whether its a cozy lounge, exclusive party, or big celebration. He has also performed at weddings, birthday parties and other various functions in Hong Kong.

Matt held DJ residencies at various hotspots across Hong Kong such as Sevva and the JW Marriott Flint Bar & Grill. He has also worked extensively in Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hanoi.

Matt was introduced to music at a young age, and trained in classical piano for 8 years. In his 20s, he became caught up in the ever growing popularity of the electronic music and DJ scene whilst travelling the world. In 2010, Matthew decided to focus on his passion for music to become a DJ.

Matt music could be described as an eclectic blend retaining various forms of traditional musical styles whilst keeping the contemporary elements of electronica in the mix. His mixes include electro swing, nu jazz, electro-classical, chill out, deep house, downtempo, funk, pop, Latin, Nu-Disco and house. His DJ sets typically strike a balance between playing for the the crowd whilst performing his own unique sound that is a true musical journey with unexpected twists and turns.
